INA seated spherical ball bearing wear failure

Wear failure of INA spherical ball bearings refers to failures caused by the relative sliding friction between the surfaces causing the wear of the metal on the working surface. Continued wear and tear will cause gradual damage to the INA bearing parts and eventually lead to loss of dimensional accuracy of the spherical outer ball bearings and other related problems. Wear may affect the shape change. The increase of the clearance and the change of the surface of the working surface may affect the lubricant or cause the pollution to a certain extent, resulting in complete loss of the lubrication function, thus causing the bearing to lose the rotation precision or even the normal operation. Wear failure is one of the common failure modes of various types of imported bearings. Generally, it can be divided into the most common abrasive wear and adhesive wear according to the wear form.
1. It is necessary to ensure the cleaning of the installation surface and the installation environment. If the spherical ball bearing with the seat has foreign matter such as burrs, iron filings and dust, it will cause noise and vibration when the bearing is running, and even damage the raceway and the moving body. .
2. The INA bearing must be cleaned before installation. In order to protect the raceway and the surface of the moving body from corrosion before the factory is shipped, anti-rust oil or anti-rust grease is injected between the raceway and the moving body. Therefore, it is necessary to clean with clean gasoline and kerosene, and then apply a clean high-quality or high-speed high-temperature lubricant before use. However, some fully-sealed bearings and imported bearings coated with lubricating and rust-proof grease do not need to be cleaned. The effect of cleanliness on bearing life and vibration noise is often large.
3. To choose the correct grease. Grease is made of base oil, thickener and additives. The greases of different types and different types of greases can vary greatly, the rotation limit is allowed to be different, and the function of grease is also determined by the base oil. Thickener It is also related to the lubrication function, and the water resistance of the thickener determines the water resistance of the grease. Generally, low viscosity base oils are used for low temperature and high speed; high viscosity is used for high temperature and high load. Different brands of grease can not be mixed, and even the same thickener grease will have a bad influence on each other due to different additives.
Abrasive wear refers to wear caused by the intrusion of foreign hard particles or hard foreign matter or metal surface between the working surface of the bearing and the relative movement of the contact surface, often causing furrow-like scratches on the working surface of the bearing. Hard particles or foreign matter may come from inside the host or from other adjacent parts of the host system and are fed into the outer spherical ball bearing by the lubricating medium. Adhesive wear refers to uneven friction of the friction surface due to microscopic protrusions or foreign matter on the friction surface. When the lubrication condition is seriously deteriorated, local friction occurs due to local friction, which may cause local deformation of the friction surface and friction micro-welding phenomenon. When the surface metal may be partially melted, the force on the contact surface tears the local friction weld from the substrate to increase the plastic deformation. This adhesive-tear-adhesive cycle constitutes adhesive wear. In general, slight adhesive wear is called abrasion, and severe adhesive wear is called occlusion.
